Toshiba Satellite

In order to boot from the USB we need to load the boot menu, as shown on the video below

1. Shut down the computer.

2. connect the USB, turn on the laptop and press the F12 key straight away, this will bring you to the boot menu to select the USB.

If for some reason you cannto access the Boot Menu, or the USB does not display, you will need to make a few changes in the BIOS setting:

1. Shut down the computer.

2. Press the power button, then keep pressing the F2 key until you are taken to the bios menu.

Note: If the F2 does not load the BIOS menu try the F8 - it is either the F2 or F8.

3. Under "SECURITY" tab you will find an option called #SECURITY MODE' or SECURITY BOOT. change it from ENABLED to DISABLED.

4. Once that is done, go to Advanced Configuration tab, and change the UEFI to CSM mode.

5.  Go to the BOOT tab, and change the boot order, so that the USB will be on top.

6. Save the changes and exit. Then shut down the computer.

7. connect the USB, turn on the laptop and press the F12 key straight away, this will bring you to the boot menu to select the USB.

You can see how to do it here:

*Note: The video only showing how to access BIOS and change the boot order, but please make sure you also disable the SECURITY BOOT and change the UEFI to CSM mode.
